Curious. Collaborative. Caffeinated.

We’re a tight-knit crew of problem solvers who thrive on complexity, collaborate relentlessly, and never say no to a good cup of coffee. If you’re a builder, a thinker, or just a wizard looking for a home — keep reading.

How the hiring process works

No gauntlets.
No games.

No AI filters.

Send us your resume — we actually read it. Our process is designed to be as much about you getting to know us as it is about us getting to know you. Culture and competency both matter here.
Who we hire

The ones who thrive.

This isn’t a checklist. It’s a description of the kind of people we’re always trying to find — whether you’re writing code or catching what the code misses.
You're more interested in the why than the what.

Most of the work here comes with a ‘what’ already attached. The people who thrive don’t stop there. They want to know why the rule exists, what breaks if it doesn’t hold, and what the user on the other end is actually trying to do. That curiosity — about the domain, the client, the problem underneath the problem — is what turns competent work into great work.

We can teach the platform. We can’t teach the instinct to care about what’s underneath it.

01
You write for the next person.
All roles here are client-facing. For developers, it’s code the next developer can read — because that next developer might be you. For QA, it’s feedback a client can act on and a developer can build from the same day. Document carefully, communicate with purpose, and treat every handoff as something that reflects on you. Because it does.
02
Every expert here was once a beginner at this.
CET is a niche platform. Our clients’ industries have their own rules, their own language, their own logic that took years to accumulate. Nobody walks in the door already knowing this world. What we look for is something harder to teach: the hunger to figure it out, the curiosity to keep going when it gets complicated, and the willingness to rise to something that doesn’t come easy at first.

"Even the greatest was once a beginner. Don't be afraid to take that first step." — Muhammad Ali

Engineering

Senior CET Extension Engineer

Grand Rapids · Hybrid or remote (ET/CT)

You own custom CET Designer extension engagements end to end. Discovery with the partner’s engineering and operations teams. Rule extraction. CET m4 implementation. Validation logic. Pricing engines. Documentation handoff. Post-launch support.

You should have shipped at least one production CET Designer extension or a comparable rule-driven configurator. Strong opinions about what good catalog architecture looks like. Comfort sitting in a room with a VP of Operations and asking dumb-sounding questions until the real rules surface.
Good people deserve good things.
