About PlatinumEdge

The people behind
the extensions.

A small team that builds CET extensions for manufacturers of complex, configurable products — and does only that, on purpose.

Focus, not scale

A small team that does one thing.

Most software companies grow by expanding their offerings. We grew by going deeper. Our founder spent ten years at Configura before starting this company, which means PlatinumEdge was never a guess about where the opportunity was.

Almost a decade in, CET is still the only thing on our menu. Not because we haven’t had the opportunity to branch out, but because we’ve seen what focus produces over time.

The problems we can solve now, the foundation we bring to every new project — none of that exists without the years we spent doing only this.
We’re based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We build CET extensions.

Our story

How we got here.

PlatinumEdge Solutions was founded in 2017 by Tim and Renee Deemter. Tim spent nearly a decade at Configura building and leading CET extension development before going out on his own — and saw what excellent CET development could look like, and how rarely smaller and mid-sized manufacturers were getting it. PlatinumEdge exists to close that gap.
We do one thing: we build CET extensions for manufacturers of complex, configurable products. Panel systems, demountable walls, laboratories, high-density storage — the harder the problem, the better the fit. Our focus is narrow by design. That singular focus has compounded into something hard to replicate: a foundation of proven, reusable code, 440+ pages of internal documentation, a dedicated QA process, and a track record with some of the most complex extensions in the ecosystem.
We stay small on purpose. We do what we say we’ll do. And we’re in this for the long term — with every client, on every project.
